David Edelman} a technology advisor to the obama administration. he told us then that ai would soon be arriving. he said that it would be such a different technology than anything we had experienced to that point in time that it would be akin to the following scenario.
he said it would be as if we came upon a person in the 1800s riding horseback asking us for directions to a nearby town.
and he said,
if we were to pull out an iPhone and provide them directions with precise details and reliable truth how such an availability of awareness would baffle them. he said, that person would feel as though we had magic in a box. and then he said, that’s what ai that is soon to arrive will feel like. he said it would become a technology that we would need to wrestle with. it seems as though it may be time to wrestle.
