AMP is an effort by Google and friends to build webpages and web assets that load near instantaneously. Google officially integrated AMP listings into its mobile search results in February of 2019.
Initially news articles were the only pages built with AMP, however since that time AMP has expanded to landing pages, advertisements, emails, and even multi-paged websites.
